Biography & academic background
Physics, cosmology, teaching, and the development of the Single Monad Model and Duality of Time Theory.
Biography
I am Mohamed Haj Yousef, a writer and researcher working across physics, cosmology, philosophy, and the study of Ibn al-Arabi. The Single Monad Model of the Cosmos and the Duality of Time Theory frame my investigation of time, spatial relations, and the connection between generation and observation.
My academic background spans solid-state physics at Aleppo University, postgraduate work in microelectronics engineering and semiconductor physics at Cambridge, and a PhD at the University of Exeter in 2005. The doctoral study examined Ibn al-Arabi’s concept of time and its relationship to questions in modern physics.
Education
- University of Exeter · PhD, 2005
- Time and cosmology in Ibn al-Arabi’s thought.
- University of Cambridge · MPhil
- Microelectronics engineering and semiconductor physics.
- Aleppo University · Postgraduate diploma, 1989–1990
- Solid-state electronics.
- Aleppo University · BSc, 1989
- Solid-state physics.
Teaching experience
My teaching experience includes undergraduate physics and electronics, with a particular emphasis on laboratory instruction. It includes work at United Arab Emirates University, Damascus University, Sebha University, the Higher Institute for Scientific Research in Damascus, Cambridge, and Aleppo. The teaching section develops practical guidance on measurement, experimental records, and scientific reporting.
Research and writing
The research programme connects inner-time generation and outer-time completion with questions about retained information, geometric readouts, complex phase, matter, and physical clocks. Published journal results, working manuscripts, and interpretive book discussions are listed separately, so readers can follow the relevant argument at its stated level.
Alongside the physics programme, my books and textual projects address Ibn al-Arabi’s cosmology, translations, and the study of The Meccan Revelations. The wider author profile and project websites provide detailed reading routes.
