I am associated with the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, UAE University since 17 August, 2005, before that I was teaching in the University of Malaya, Malaysia. I obtained my doctorate in the field of dynamic modeling and simulation of industrial fluidized bed reactor for polyethylene production  from the University of Salford, Manchester, UK.

My research interests are in modeling and simulation, polymer reaction engineering, fabrication of polymeric hollow fiber membrane, polyamide polymerization, nonlinear control techniques, petrochemical industries and gas separation.
