Al Qaydi, Saif. (2003) Introduction to Economic Geography. Al-Ain: Maktabat al-Falah. Second Edition 2009.

This refereed textbook by the UAEU Research and Publishing Committee, is assigned in many departments of geography at the GCC and other Arab countries. It consists of 10 chapters, 39 tables and 87 figures. The book' subjects introduce the freshmen students to many economic geography topics e.g. farming, free zones, transportation, energy, global food problems. All these topics are covered in 495 pages.

Prefaced by Ahmed Asuwaidy, the General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation, the book' subject deals with the new urban growth in Al Ain Region (UAE). The textbook consists of 15 chapters and use in many GCC and Arab countries. The book topics are covered by 674 pages, 55 tables and 105 figures, deal with the principles of the economic geography and using North America and European approaches. Also, the book' chapters use many applications from GCC countries and other World countries.
